Co-founders of Employment Matters
Having operated other business ventures from primary production through to sales and marketing Bob & Lyn commenced Employment Matters in 2004 and built the business on diversity in the service areas of recruitment, contract training and employment services primarily targeted to the employed.
While those services are still offered, Employment Matters is now more focused on recruitment consulting and has been developed through assisting clients with their staffing needs for businesses in the South Burnett, regional Western, North Western and Central Queensland.
The purpose of employmentmatters.com.au is to provide the South Burnett with its own employment web site - a community meeting place where South Burnett employers and South Burnett job applicants can come together to consider South Burnett and Kingaroy jobs.
Bob Felsman
Bob is focused on supporting people and has pursued that purpose through business as an employer, a regional manager with over 30 staff and 3 site managers to support, a trainer in the area of employment skills and in the areas of sales and marketing.
Bob now brings to the table employment and recruitment industry experience dating back to 1999 and is progressing that involvement with the South Burnett’s own employment web site.
Lyn Felsman
Lyn’s talents are varied and she is a well-recognised South Burnett artist with her art on display at various galleries. Lyn is often found delivering training classes to new aspiring local artistic talent.
Lyn continues to also provide strong business support to Employment Matters and as a qualified trainer was involved with the design and presentation of a number of training programmes for job applicants in the areas of personal presentation for the workplace, job application techniques and personal development. This training was delivered in the South Burnett, Bundaberg and Brisbane areas.
Edson Felsman
Founder of Employment Matters, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast Areas
Armed with industry experience dating back to the early 90’s, Edson is able to share the knowledge he has gained from working in the areas of recruitment, retail operations management and account management.
Edson has benefited from working in management roles in Australia and overseas with large multi-national companies such as Intrawest, Merlin Entertainment Group and Village Roadshow Theme Parks, and was responsible for the staffing and management of up to nearly 40 retail outlets. He also performed similar work for other Australian based business with interstate interests.
Edson’s clients have the benefit of being able to tap into that experience as he assists them with the tailored management of their recruitment process for new staff.
