The Opportunity:

Join the team at Kewpie Stockfeeds in Kingaroy for a role that offers the flexibility for full-time applicants or part-time (approximately 25-30 hours per week) in a vertically integrated agricultural business.

The role will provide a high level of customer service by assisting with phone, email and over the counter sales plus sales administration support.

The Person:

While specific job training will be provided, the position will require applicants to be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service skills and phone manner.
  • Proven retail skills and experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Keyboard and data entry skills.
  • A strong commitment to your team.
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • Willingness to assist and learn in other operational areas as required.

Although not essential requirements, preference may be shown to applicants also able to provide any of the following:

  • A rural background.
  • Experience with livestock products.
  • MYOB experience

The Duties:

Duties will be diverse across all areas of the business as required, however the primary focus will be to assist with:

  • Email and over the counter sales and customer service.
  • Sales invoicing.
  • Product merchandising.
  • Ordering.
  • Scheduling sales deliveries.
  • Accurate data entry.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy showroom area.

The Employer:

Kewpie commenced as a local, family owned South Burnett business in 1968 and now includes several enterprises that are operated under the Kewpie banner servicing a diverse range of rural interests from their main office and retail outlet in Kingaroy.

Over 60 staff work in various enterprises and facilities within the South Burnett.
