The Duties:
Duties will be diverse and will include:
- Provide quality customer service.
- Process customer enquiries and sales (front counter, email and phone).
- Prepare invoices, quotes and internal reports.
- Product merchandising.
- Pack and load customer orders.
- Receive stock deliveries, check for accuracy and process documentation.
- Inventory control.
- Cut steel for orders (Bandsaw, Cold saw and Guillotine).
- Maintain store and steel yard presentation.
Person Requirements:
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Sales experience (front counter and phone).
- Sales administration experience.
- Experience with goods inwards, despatch and inventory control.
- Computer and data entry skills.
- A sound level of physical fitness.
Although not all the following are essential, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following:
- Experience with steel or steel workshop sales.
- A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MYOB
- Current Forklift ticket or the willingness to acquire
The Employer:
Kewpie commenced as a local, family-owned South Burnett business in 1968 and now includes several enterprises that are operated under the Kewpie banner servicing a diverse range of rural interests including steel sales and fabrication.
Over 60 staff work in various enterprises and facilities within the South Burnett with the head office based in Kingaroy.
