The Duties:

As a Piggery Attendant, you will work closely with the Farm Manager to perform a variety of day-to-day activities that will include:

  • Consistent monitoring and managing animal health/nutrition.
  • Organising animals and delivering various treatments.
  • Maintaining general hygiene and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Ensuring WHS & Animal Welfare compliance.
  • Recording and updating production records.
  • Artificial Insemination & heat detection.
  • Pregnancy testing.
  • Vaccinations.

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Availability for rostered weekend work.

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Experience in piggery operations, animal vaccination, or breeding management.
  • Relevant qualifications or skills in artificial insemination, mating, or pregnancy testing.
