The Opportunity:

Develop your skills and expand your career through a Traineeship in Finance with CRAICCHS in Cherbourg.

Assist through providing administrative support to the Corporate Services team with general admin services, records maintenance, data entry, and compliance functions to support quality service delivery and day to day operations.

About CRAICCHS:

Cherbourg Regional Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Service (CRAICCHS) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisation.

CRAICCHS objective is to provide access to holistic and client-centred quality primary health care and social and emotional wellbeing services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the South Burnett regions.

Key Duties:

The duties will be diverse, and although not limited to, will include:

  • Assisting the Corporate Services team with general administrative and data entry duties.
  • Assisting with fleet vehicles to ensure vehicle efficiencies and compliance.
  • Monitor the allocation of ICT equipment and report disruptions
  • Support the organisation of travel arrangements for Directors, Executive Managers and staff.
  • Maintain the mail register and monitor incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Assist with meeting preparations.
  • Help arrange catering for in-house meetings and training.
  • Participate in CRAICCHS community days as required.
  • Work harmoniously with all members of the Corporate Services team.
  • Complete a Cert III in Finance and other training as required.
  • Assist with other duties as required, to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.

Key Requirements:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • A working knowledge of basic computer systems and sound key board skills.
  • A willingness to help people.
  • Sound communication skills with the ability to listen.
  • The ability to effectively engage and sensitively communicate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability and those with diverse characteristics and life experiences.
  • An understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • A willingness to learn and complete a Cert III in Finance and other training as required.
  • The ability to accept direction and work productively in a team environment.
  • A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or the ability to quickly acquire.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certs or the willingness to obtain.
  • A current driver licence (L. P or Open)
