The Duties:
Duties will be selected from the following depending on your skill level:
- Consistent monitoring and reporting animal health/nutrition.
- Organising animals and delivering various treatments.
- Maintaining general hygiene and cleanliness of the facility.
- Ensuring WHS & Animal Welfare compliance.
- Recording and updating production records.
- Artificial Insemination & heat detection.
- Pregnancy testing.
- Vaccinations.
What You Will Need:
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Proven reliability.
- Strong communication, time management and teamwork.
- Commitment to animal welfare and biosecurity standards.
- Availability for fortnightly rostered weekend work.
- A positive attitude and safe work practices.
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport with the right to work in Australia.
Preferred (but not essential):
- Experience in animal operations, vaccinations or breeding programmes.
- Relevant experience with artificial insemination, mating or pregnancy testing.
- Skid Steer Operator competency.
